Yam N Timsina was born in Tehrathum, Nepal but grew up predominantly in Jhapa, eastern Nepal. He began his undergraduate studies at Tribhuvan University, Nepal. In the fall of 2006, he moved to USA where he is a scientist with technical and intellectual curiosity after completing his PhD and postdoctoral training. Along with his scientist career, his writing is focused on issues of scientific research progress, social upliftment, and value creation.
